On August 23, 2024, I began a new position as Assistant Vice President for Research and Scholarly Impact in the Division of Research & Creative Achievement at UMBC.
Our UMBC research motto is “Public Research for Public Good” – a principle that I also have embraced in my own research and in my research leadership at UMBC. I feel very fortunate that this new role will give me the opportunity to further advance UMBC as a hub for social and public impact research and to support scholarship on our campus that aims to improve people’s lives, enrich communities, and benefit society.
