Our work and our book are featured in the latest entry of the column “Teachers at Work” on the Visual Thesaurus website.  Part one of the interview explains how our book came together and why we do what we do as linguists/sociologists.  An excerpt from our book, “Dameon’s Rap,” explains how to use hip hop and rap in creative approaches to vocabulary learning and building.  Part 2 of the interview describes our current work with educators and students and our plans to create more resources for teachers to use in class.
